GRAFITTI-Zen artwork on Tudor Road

Passing by the Riverside Farmer’s Market via Tudor Road and I was pleasantly surprised to see some new street art adorning the grey and dull walls of Tudor Road, Cardiff.

The colourful design features a Buddha giving a mantra with the words:-

“You will have bad luck if you make a mess here!
Good luck to you ALL!”

Also featured on the wall was a Chinese proverb (well that’s my guess what it was anyway – if you know different please let me know!)

“om ma li be me hom!”

As this wall leads into the back lanes of Riverside we can only assume the local residents were fed up of the area being used as a dumping ground and a place to spend a penny on the way home from town late at night (amongst other activities!)

  1. It’s lush! I was only looking at it the other day..

  2. I like the way it politely gets it’s message across!

We can easily turn grey walls into interesting and colourful spaces for everyone to enjoy!
