The rain had just cleared and the sun popped it’s head out before it began to set on this changeable day in Cardiff just before Christmas. It was time to swiftly pass St. Teilo’s Well and make our way to the City of Llandaf Cathedral. Looking all wet and glistening, reflecting the last remnants of the day’s sunshine!
As a musical extravaganza eminated through all the Cathedral windows and filled the eerie graveyard with festive spirit (!) it was then totally surprising to find some hyperdermic needles strewn within the Cathedral grounds.
Is this a normal occurence? I wonder whether ‘people’ find solice in these grounds and regularly use them for such activities? It’s such a shame that these users have left these needles in a public place and have no regard for what human, kid or animal could stumble upon these items.
