REVIEW C-Y-N-T’s 3rd Birthday @ Millennium Music Hall

It was billed as a big messy bash with hundreds of revellers packing the Millennium Music Hall to ensure the party went off with a bang!

First up were Crystal Fighters but due to un-necessarily long queues (we were in that queue for nearly an hour!) we missed them! Hopefully we can catch some highlights online later?

After getting in we timed it to perfection to see Crookers on stage just at the start of the set! An amazing set through dirty filthy electro house. Some amazing tunes in there. Must have to hunt a few of those babies down!

Next up Jesse Rose teased the necklace-wearing crowd with even more dirtyness and beats.
And then finishing off with a set of two halfs from KraftyKuts. Easing the crowd in with some more electro and then finishing on his more trademark mashup of styles ranging from oldskool, drum n bass and dub step. Im sure there was even a hip-hop thrown in somewhere!
Highlight was mixing Coburns-We Interrupt this program with the vocals from Candi Stanton (Im off to re-create that one now!)

A cracking night was had by all with some amazing sets and music – Cardiff has a credible dance culture again!
(ps just try and get there early to avoid those ridiculous queues!)
