Originally a mashup artist from 2000 onwards. Mixing up the music, vocals and styles from various tracks and creating something totally different – with some varying results!

Launching the DJ Leekee Remix Emporium in 2001 – parts of it still exist on with the first incarnation located HERE A very basic website all built with frames!
The site run for 7 years showing my own mashups, megamixes, yearmixes and full length club mixes. Also other people’s mashups were featured from a wide selection of artists from around the world including
After legal complications I was faced with no choice but to close The Emporium down and decide on how else to source my tracks.
It was decided to join my fellow mates over at The United Remixers Guild with the original link here

I have had many forums over the years beginning with the original Bravenet forum HERE and the more successful (and spam-free) Proboards forum HERE. The DJ Leekee fourm at URG DJS is still active HERE

Annually I would hold the “DJ Leekee Mashup Contest” where I would make available 5 specially selected acapellas which hadn’t already been used at all in any previous mashups and were fairly exclusive at the time to the website.

As each year drew to a close it was a major challenge to catalogue that year in dance music in one continuous mix being made available on 1st December each year.
I began the mixes in 2003 where it was made in two nights and run only 30 minutes. The last year mix ran a full 80 minutes and cramming 100 tracks in this 80 minutes took a few weeks to create.
