Amazing as Daft Punk are it seems their global takeover has taken many years to fully sink into the general public’s minds and become ‘mainstream’ – so much so that acapella group Pentatonix have recreated seven of Daft Punk’s biggest hits using only their voices and mixed them up into a 5 minute video on Youtube.
The songs used are:-
- Technologic
– One More Time
– Get Lucky
– Digital Love
– Harder Better Faster Stronger
– Television Rules The Nation
– Around The World
I think it’s been WELL received around the world with over 45 million views! So not using any technology (apart from creating the video and some editing) all instruments, synths and percussion are created wholly with the human voice!
Pentatonix is made up of lead vocalists Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado and Mitch Grassi, with vocal bass Avi Kaplan and beatboxer Kevin “K.O.” Olusola. The rest of their videos can be viewed on their Youtube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/user/PTXofficial/videos
Simple but meaningful friends, greetings compassion 🙂
