CARDIFF CITY – Paddy Power to the help!?

As times are hard at Cardiff City Football Club with speculation that manager Malky Mackay has already over-spent on his team budget with no more money for the January transfer window – it seems betting company Paddy Power are coming to the rescue!

They have begaun an online campaign via Twitter and Facebook to increase the funds to help Cardiff City!
It all began with the first tweet:-

They are claiming to donate 1p (yes a whole one pence!) to the Cardiff transfer fund for each retweet of the message.

This was originally tweeted just after midday on 17th December and within 9 hours it has already been retweeted over 3000 times. So there’s already £30 in the fund*! (Maybe they shouldnt be trusted to do their maths correctly! bookies eh?!)

*The original tweet has been tweeted three times so the total retweets is the total of the following three links:-
