Back in the late 80’s and throughout the start of the 1990’s Rolf Harris presented an afternoon drawing-come-cartoon TV show on CITV – aptly named Rolf’s Cartoon Club.
Rolf’s Cartoon Club, as well as being a television programme, was also an actual club that viewers could join. Members received a club badge featuring the “Rolfaroo” character, as well as newsletters featuring information about the television programme.
The six series were made at the HTV West studios in Bristol and contained a VERY catchy theme tune… so much so that I decided to rip it from a poor quality Real Player clip and try and play about with it. I made this version about 15 years ago and just thought I’d put it out there.
It was created on a really crude piece of music software with only four mono tracks and no speed control or ability to change pitch! Hence it’s not perfect but just a bit of fun! You can join today! Whaaaaaaaat? Yeeeeeeeeeah!
