HEATWAVE – In parts of Cardiff

It seems like the current heatwave has been with us for weeks now (I bet it’s only been days!) so much so that I think it’s beginning to affect us all a bit.
Just for a bit of fun some of the parts of Cardiff have been renamed to reflect the great Summer so far! (You may have to say some with a lisp!)

Roast (Roath)
Splhott (Splott)
Cardiff Royal Inferno (Cardiff Royal Infirmary)
Heat Hospital (Heath Hospital)
Hama dry ad Park (Hamadryad Park)
Wiltchurch (Whitchurch)
Pont fanner (Pontcanna)
Sultry (Rhudry or Sully – cant decide!)
Roast Park Bake (Roath Park Lake)
So fire gardens (Sophia Gardens)
Llan sunny (Llanrumney)
Cat haze (Cathays)
Taff swell (Taffs Well)
Drip (Drope)
Rain more Park (Grangemoor Park)

and those after something a bit cooler how about –
A damp down (Adamsdown) and
Penarth Road Fridge (Penarth Road Bridge)

That’s enough for now – get your thinking caps on and see if you can come up with anymore!
