Housed between Cathay’s City Road and Richmond Road is a lane that hasn’t been gated off yet and houses many types of street art across the array of brick walls and garage doors along it.
Most of it has been throw ups, stencils and giant tags but nothing on such a large scale as this… Step up Mr Colour Doomed!
Gracing a breeseblock blocked garage wall – a fantastic choice for a canvas to display his next amazing piece of street art.
I first managed to capture the piece unfinished and show both states of the piece of art below.
This piece features a young chap bending down gathering his brightly coloured marbles into a pot. The two photos below hopefully show the amount of work that goes into creating such a large piece of art like this with colours layered upon each other to create the overall amazing end result.
It’s really interesting to see the amount of detail that has gone into this piece – just look at the light shafts in those marbles and tones in the fingers!
Since this piece was finished it seems it has attracted a new colourful piece on an adjacent garage door of the same building.
