XFACTOR – Pink tribute act from Caerphilly goes a bit crazy!

ITV 1’s flagship talent show The X Factor returned for the latest series on Saturday 19th August, 2012 and with it a whole host of entertaining singers. (There didn’t seem to be as many freaks and poor singers as previous series – but they now get to show these on ITV2 instead!)

The one audition that stood out a mile was Pink tribute act Zoe Alexander from Caerphilly in South Wales. Her Father was a Tom Jones impressionist and her Mother a Shania Twain impressionist.

Zoe came on and seemed to want to get away from the Pink tribute act thing and just be herself – but for some reason still opted for a Pink song – much to the annoyance of the judges!
Watch the full audition and ‘reaction’ by pressing play on the video below.

The judges fairly gave her a second chance to sing a non-Pink song which she obliged. But it all got a bit ugly at the end when the singer threw a temper tantrum after failing to be put through by the Judges and smashed bits of the set up, threw the microphone on the floor, attempted to stop cameras filming her and then stormed off stage as she swore at the judges, “You told me what to sing. You are a bunch of *****.”

Oh she just had to be Welsh didn’t she?!?!? Grrrr!

Looking at my Twitter stream there seemed to be some people who attended that audition in Cardiff and they seemed surprised that the bit where the judges requested her to sing a Pink song was edited out!
This has now also made it to The Sunday Mirror!

If you really want to see more of Zoe performing as Pink there’s two more videos below.
