Now in it’s sixth year the ‘RoxeJam’ was originally set up in 2007 by Lou Lockwood as a memorial to her son Bill (aka local street artist Roxer), who had died in a road accident.
After a wash-out Summer this was luckily the one week when it was dry and extremely sunny with pure blue skies and suitable for the event to take place.
It’s held at Sevenoaks Park in Grangetown, bringing together graffiti artists from the local area and from across the whole of the UK.
The main attraction is most definately the huge 140m legal graffiti wall which stretches the full length of the park and is re-decorated yearly at this event and updated further during the year.
Luckily I managed to catch a few artists still at work on this masterpiece.
