USA-Pillowfight flashmob in San Diego

On Saturday April 2nd 2011 there was a National Pillowfight Day held with flashmobs being created all around the world to help celebrate this momentus ocassion! (more details on that link!)

I was on holiday in the USA at the time and happened to stumble upon this pillow fight occuring at Horton Plaza, San Diego.
 
There was a real good turn out (possibly over 100 – maybe even 200 people) mostly students and teenagers turning up to fight each other with pillows. Traffic came to a stand-still to see what all the noise and fuss was about with many people watching the proceedings from other vantage points! At the end a lot of the pillows had the stuffing knocked out of them and it became a big feathery scene! Click the play button below to watch the video!
