Last week the Christmas lights were turned on in Cardiff City Centre as we edge ever nearer to Christmas. The whole of the City Centre is hoping for bumper crowds this year to splash the cash and make up for a poor year of sales due to the recession and numerous building projects and construction work that has been carried out in the city over the last few years!
The newly renovated The Hayes has been given some illumination along with the usual Christmas trees outside Cardiff Castle and on Queen Street. There was also some large ‘floating’ stars dangling above Working Street amongst other places.
The Christmas Markets still feature on The Hayes and Working Street but now feature on High Street aswell since the pedestrianisation was completed.
Very pretty 🙂
