On Saturday 12th June the latest Youth Summer Festival Football Tournament was held at Sully Sports and Social Club with their vast fields.
The site is in Sully, just outside Cardiff, and featured teams from throughout South Wales, including Rhoose, Cardiff and Barry.
The forecast was good but luckily there was some cloud and blustery winds incoming off the Bristol Channel.
Games this year lasted ten minutes each way with no referree – so fair play all around was appreciated.
Thousands of family, friends and supporters turned out to support their teams and enjoy the fantastic facilities and stalls that had been laid on.
There was also a display from a local(ish) dance team from Caerphilly who were showing their fantastic skills. Of which members of the public were invited to take part aswell!
Did I mention that the steam ship The Waverley also passed on by for a nose aswell…..
