At the end of November it was time for Cardiff City to take on some Premiership challengers in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup – this time Blackburn Rovers at home.
19,436 fans packed the Cardiff City Stadium where there was an outpouring of grief for the late Wales Manager Gary Speed.
First there was a minutes applause – then a minute’s silence. A Welsh flag was then laid on the pitch with both managers laying wreaths paying their own respects and then the game was off!

MP3-DJ Leekee Dance Yearmix 2004
Presenting you with my second ever Yearmix and from a half decent year – 2004! Some club classics around this year from the likes of Mousse T, Basement Jaxx, Deep Dish and Shapeshifters to name a few! Obviously getting some more commerical hits in there aswell. I still listen to this one from time to time!
Bringing you another exclusive megamix of all the big choons from 2004. 50 tracks in 50 minutes! Trawling through this year’s biggest dance tracks and throwing in a few remixes of commerical tracks aswell! I hope this doesn’t cross the line of good taste and is still quite a credible representation of a year in (commerical) dance music! I could’ve just repeated all the house tracks that I featured in my house mixes throughout 2004 but I didnt think would serve any purpose really! I hope you dont mind the ending to this mix either! I wont spoil it for you and let you hear it for your self!

HUMOUR-Remakes of the Benton Jesus Christ video
Within a day of the original being online featuring an owner trying to control his dog in Richmond Park with a loads of deers – the internet has taken the original idea and mashed it all up with some classic films and tv programmes! I won’t spoil the fun for you but it’s definately worth watching the original first! Some great spoofs ranging from Disney and American Blockbusters to Trainspotting and Alan Partridge and even a dubstep remix!
GRAFITTI-New Spades characters popping up again
On my travels through the City Centre recently and imagine my surprise when I spotted a big bright pink thing on the window of Howell’s!
Yep the cheeky little blob/whale character, by artist Spades, had made a return to Cardiff! This time aerosols weren’t used but instead a mixture of crayon and pens/ink?

MASHUP-Leona Lewis vs Los Del Rio-Bleeding Macarena(DJ Leekee Mix)
OK Sunday mornings, plus hangover normally equals dodgy mashup time! Well I like to try and justify them by saying that are just a bit of fun! (Maybe not as annoying as The Crazy Frog Megamix though!!)
So this time taking the humungous hit from Leona Lewis and totally cheesing it up with some Macarena action from Los Del Rio (or was it Los Del Mar?) Read more…
PHOTOS-Armistice Day 2011
Hopefully the photos sum up the mood of Armistice Day – a time to reflect and pay tribute for all the good work that our war heroes have done, continue to do so and a time to remember those that weren’t so lucky in the call of duty.

YEARMIX- Dance Yearmix 2011- Submit your track suggestions now!
Well it’s that time of year to reflect back on what has been quite an average year in the dance music field.
Dance music has diverged with some big producers and DJ’s dominating the commerical charts and others going back underground and continuing the original house spirit.
As per usual I will endeavour to encompass all styles of dance music ranging from the housier side and remixes of the r n b scene with some more obvious house classics and touching on some trance and ending with a slab of dubstep and drum n bass. Yep it all gets thrown into the mix!
So this is where you guys come in! Are there any specific tracks that you would like me to include in this mix to give a true presentation of what was hot on the dancefloor! To revisit the DJ Leekee Dance Yearmix 2010 please click below:- Read more…
