Enta art in canton

GRAF-’Enta’ legal art opposite Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.

Graffiti in Canton
There is a small legal wall featuring various pieces of art opposite Chapter Arts Centre in Canton, Cardiff.

It’s essentially a small wall at the side of someone’s house who have allowed artwork to be displayed there.

The first piece sprung up back in December in 2010 and was of a cute little chav girl – but it seemed like they were interupted mid-flow when Rhodri Morgan and other dignatories passed!

First up some background on The Royal Welsh Show:-
Royal Welsh Show 2011
“The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society was formed in 1904, and the first show was held in Aberystwyth in the same year. The Royal Welsh Show attracts around a quarter of a million people over the course of the four days and is supported by approximately 17,000 members.
This success allowed for the extensive development in 1963 of the now permanent showground at Llanelwedd. Over the years buildings have been added to the site with recent additions including the grandstand, food hall and members centre.
The Royal Welsh Show is the biggest event of it’s kind in Britain with around 1000 tradestands and shops, and a catalogue of events scheduled for the main ring “

Wales Air Show 2011-Swansea
On the weekend of 9th and 10th July it was time for the annual Wales Air Show to be held in Swansea Bay.
The weather forecast didn’t look amazing for the Saturday (a bit better for the Sunday)but this didn’t deter the thousands of spectators who turned up and lined the rim of Swansea Bay to watch a variety of air craft and displays over the skies of South Wales.
First up I managed to catch a display by the Sea King Search and Rescue helicopters re-enacting a real-life rescue situation for everyone to witness. Read more…

FOOTBALL-Robert Earnshaw pleads for Bellamy to join Swansea!

Sunday Mirror error
It’s been a bit of a long weekend with copious amounts of alcohol and food being consumed and with a total lack of sleep (it’s been a great weekend though) – but I thought I must’ve still been drunk or half asleep when I read the headline from the back page of The Sunday Mirror on 10th July, 2011.

The opening line read:-
“Rob Earnshaw has pleaded with Craig Bellamy to join him at Swansea.”
