Taking a stroll around the City Centre and Roath and unearthing some more great grafitti and street art gracing our city’s walls. There was some great light whilst we were in dpeth of a really harsh cold spell and so made for some cracking photos!

At long last Cardiff City’s Boxing Day fixture wasnt against Plymouth but infact Coventry City at home. Kick off was also a bit later than normal at 3pm. This prolonged cold snap didnt put many off with the official attendance being just under 25,000. Rumour has it though that possibly only 19,000 turned up due to icy roads and generally poor driving conditions!

PHOTOS-Frozen Roath Park Lake
I took a stroll over to a very frozen and cold Roath Park Lake and discovered some very hungry birds (no they werent angry!) I even fed them my chocolate cookies (some birds seemed more fussy than others!) There were many people enjoying the dramatic scenes across the lake as the sun was going down giving an interesting warm glow across the cold surface.

PHOTOS-Cardiff Stadium in the snow!
It has been snowing heavily throughout South Wales since Thursday night with numerous dumps of snow (Copyright James Wright ITV Weather)
Cardiff City’s game against Burnley on Saturday was called off but the Cardiff Blues’ game on Sunday is still going ahead.
Preparations have been ongoing at the stadium to clear the carpark, make the area safe to the fans and maintain a useable pitch.
JCB’s, diggers and other machinery was in operation assisting in the clearup!

Amidst one of the frostiest November’s on record and Cardiff Blues were taking on Glasgow Warriors at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The date and time of the match was chosen by the fans due to it falling on the same weekend that New Zealand took on Wales at the Millennium Stadium – where the Saturday lunchtime kickoff was favoured by fans. Over 3,000 cold, but eager fans, turned up to support their home side. Read more…

PHOTOS-Cardiff City Centre on International Rugby Day inc Hooters!
After watching Cardiff Blues thrash Glasgow Warriors at the Cardiff City Stadium it was time to jump on the free bus and head straight to the City Centre to find a suitable drinking establishment to watch the next game – Wales v All Blacks at the Millennium Stadium.
As soon as we got into town (around 3pm) every bar was already full with long queues already forming outside! There was also loads of people milling around the extremely cold streets near the Castle. This is the busiest I have seen the City Centre for many a year!
